I recently received an email stating that my payment through HDFC was not confirmed within the required time frame, resulting in the cancellation of my booking. I recently made a booking, but the page refreshed accidentally, changing the stay date to tonight instead of 25-12-20, which is the intended date. I can't stay tonight since the hotel's reception was closed when the booking was made. The after-hours number for the hotel suggested I contact you to change the date to tomorrow since they are closed today. It seems I shouldn't have been able to book for today in the first place. Upon arriving at Vagamon Sam Valley, we were informed that our booking through Agoda was unavailable and no rooms were reserved for us. Disappointed by the lack of information and assistance, we managed to find alternate accommodations. Despite numerous attempts to contact Agoda directly, we were unable to reach anyone. I recently made a booking at a property in India, only to realize a minute later that there was a date mix-up. I attempted to contact Agoda through live chat, phone, and international numbers (UK/US), but unfortunately, I was unable to reach a customer service representative. I then sent an email within an hour, but have not received a response yet. I have spoken to the property, and they have agreed to provide a full refund due to the circumstances, which I mentioned to Agoda in my email. However, I have still not received a response from Agoda after several days. At this point, there seems to be nothing more I can do other than share my experience here.

I attempted to reserve a stay at Sai Vishram Beach Resort near Udupi in India through agoda.com on December 24, [redacted], for check-in on December 27 and checkout on December 30. My HSBC VISA credit card was charged INR 61,[redacted]. After receiving an error message from agoda.com, I contacted HSBC credit card customer service, who confirmed the transaction but saw no booking confirmation. Can you please provide an update on when the debited amount will be refunded to my HSDB VISA credit card? I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly. Rajan Pandey

I had trouble reaching the person to obtain the key for the apartment. No contact details or apartment information was provided. I emailed on the 19th regarding our arrival on the 25th but did not receive any response. Despite multiple calls to Agoda, I couldn’t get through to anyone. Unfortunately, we never received instructions on how to collect the key or contact the apartment owner. We paid for the accommodation but were unable to stay there. I am requesting a refund as there was a lack of communication and we were unable to access the apartment.

I made a reservation at Edsa Shangrila Hotel in Ortigas for December 31 to January 2 with free cancellation, opting for the book now pay later option. I now wish to cancel and rebook the same hotel for the same dates but with a different package including breakfast. However, tomorrow marks the final day for cancellations, and I am unable to locate my previous booking on my upcoming list. I am requesting a refund for my booking. I booked a resort through your site only to find out it has been closed for a long time. The resort is still accepting bookings today, causing me great inconvenience. Upon contacting the resort, they confirmed it is closed. This situation was embarrassing in front of my guests, leading them to drive a long way to find alternative accommodation. Hello, I want to share my experience from today's visit to the place I had booked. Upon arrival, I discovered it was located on a cliff, which is not suitable for children and poses safety risks. The manager was aware of this issue and kindly suggested canceling the reservation. He assisted in arranging a booking at a nearby location. Despite my attempts to contact you via chat with no response, I was unable to cancel the reservation online. I kindly request a full refund for booking ID [redacted]9 and urge you to add a note warning others that this place is not child-friendly, as mentioned by the manager on other platforms. I made a hotel reservation and selected the "pay now" option. After realizing I entered the wrong dates, I tried to cancel the reservation. Hello, I have a medical condition that may affect my ability to travel to Las Vegas. I am uncertain about my trip. I made a reservation two weeks ago. Initially, I had another booking a week prior, but I had to change it to the later date. The first booking was refundable, and that went smoothly. I mistakenly thought the subsequent booking was also refundable, but it turns out it's not. Unfortunately, I had to cancel this booking last minute due to Covid restrictions, and I am now seeking a refund.

I made a reservation at Grand Mercure Mysore for the 30th of this month using Booking ID [redacted]17. Even though the payment was deducted from my bank account, the booking was not confirmed. Despite calling the hotel directly, they couldn't find any reservation under my name. I've been attempting to reach out to Agoda, but unfortunately, I haven't received any response. I'm very frustrated as I don't know the status of my reservation or where my money has gone.

I reserved a room for three nights at YHC in Cairns through Agoda. The cost was $[redacted] AUD. Upon arrival at YHC, I was informed that there was no booking available due to no vacancy. This has happened four times in a week, with Agoda taking payment but not securing the booking. I have attempted to contact Agoda for a refund, but the calls keep getting disconnected without any response. Good Afternoon, I am Ayman Guirguis, the Director of Operations at Hancock Hotel in Findlay, Ohio, USA. We attempted to process the credit card for two reservations scheduled to arrive tonight, but it was declined. The room rate is $77.22, and with taxes, it amounts to $89.38. Upon contacting customer service, we were informed that we are not required to charge taxes. I reserved a hotel in Goa through Agoda, but upon arrival, we discovered that the hotel was closed eight months ago and another hotel was in its place. We were forced to spend 12 hours in the car and find alternative accommodation. We are seeking compensation for the inconvenience caused by Agoda booking a non-existent hotel. Additionally, we are requesting a refund for the payment made to Agoda.
