EL Al Airlines Customer Service Issues

I will be traveling to Israel on EL AL on August 15, departing on flight LY8, and returning to the US on August 27, [redacted], on flight LY1. My passport expires on January 27, [redacted]. I am traveling with Margaret Morse Tours for my son's bar mitzvah with my family. The tour company's paperwork states that the passport should be valid for 6 months past the return date from Israel, but mine only has 4 months of validity left at that point. Can someone please confirm that I won't have any problems traveling to and from Israel? Thank you.

Turkish Airlines, the airline we were supposed to fly with to Istanbul, has promptly refunded our tickets within 48 hours of our cancellation.
