Dear Sir/Madam, My name is Enrique Maté Durán. Last Friday, the 22nd of September, I made a reservation for two nights at RUMI Hostel in LA, where I had stayed before. My reservation number is [redacted][redacted]. I was charged 10.25 Eur for the service. Upon arrival at the hostel, the management informed me that they had made a mistake and couldn't accommodate me for that night, leaving me without a safe place to stay. As someone nearing 70 years old and with limited financial resources, it was challenging to address this situation late on a Friday night in Los Angeles. Despite attempting multiple downtown hotels, all reported no vacancies. I ultimately had to seek shelter at the airport. I found this treatment inhumane, merely due to a booking error. The system recognizes me as a male, so I'm unclear why it directed me to a female room. I apologize for the lengthy message, but I was deeply upset and embarrassed. I would appreciate a refund of the 10.25 Eur reservation fee. Thank you in advance. Enrique Maté Durán

Yesterday, I made a reservation through HostelWorld for Stadtaffe-Chic Hostel in Vienna. I provided all the required information, including my bank card details. After getting everything ready, I hesitated a bit to confirm and checked other websites. When I finally confirmed the booking, I encountered an error message stating that my search had expired due to the time taken. I started re-entering my details and only then noticed that the payment had been processed on my bank account without receiving a confirmation email. I suspect this might be due to choosing the option for same-day email confirmation. Yet, I still expected some form of confirmation which I did not receive. Hence, I kindly ask you to send the booking confirmation to my email ([redacted]) to ensure my reservation and trip details are in order. Thank you.
