I recently received an email thread from Solar City dating back to January [redacted], which was followed by communication in October [redacted] regarding the panels not working. In November [redacted], I received a surprise NEM bill from PGE amounting to $[redacted], which I disputed as I believed I didn't have sufficient panels for my house size. The solar city employee who initially assessed my house installed the panels promptly, but the issues with PGE persisted, and my panels still do not function correctly. Tesla's website and app seem to focus primarily on cars, neglecting adequate support for solar panel customers tied into lease agreements. When requesting additional panels, I was informed that I would need a new contract, resulting in multiple lease agreements. Recently, I faced another unforeseen bill from the city of San Jose for $[redacted], highlighting the complexities of being a "generation provider" versus a "delivery provider" as explained by PGE. It's clear that my panels fail to generate enough electricity, leading to an anticipated $[redacted]-$[redacted] adjustment with PGE every November, despite my average household bills ranging from $[redacted]-$[redacted] due to insufficient energy generation.

We have been owners of a solar system for some years now. Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing an issue with some thick wires on our system that have come loose and are hanging around our house. Despite my efforts to reach out for assistance, we have not received any help from the company. It is concerning because we fear that these loose wires may cause damage to the system. We have always paid our bills promptly and have recommended solar to many others. We kindly request for someone to come and reattach these wires, ensuring they are secured back up on the roof where they should be. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Louann and Charles D.

I've been attempting to reach someone and have tried 5 different numbers without success. I require a service technician to visit my residence and repair a malfunctioning circuit breaker that was installed by Solar City a few years ago. We received an email instructing us to troubleshoot the communication issue with our system, but have not heard from you since. I would like to schedule a service appointment. Kindly email me the confirmed date and time once scheduled. Our address is [redacted] Presley Rd., Lanham, Md. [redacted]. Please address this promptly. Thank you.

Nine years ago, I leased solar panels from Solar City, now under Tesla, hoping for savings. However, the panels haven't been working as expected. I'm facing annual NEM charges of $2,[redacted] to $2,[redacted] on top of my Tesla bills. Despite contacting Tesla and having two other solar companies visit, the issue remains unresolved. The panels are incorrectly placed on the North side instead of the South side. Even after a Tesla technician acknowledged the error two years ago, no progress was made. As a widow on a fixed income, this situation has become stressful and financially burdensome. Tesla suggested I may not have enough panels for my needs. Despite complying with all their requests and spending extra on bills and maintenance, the problem persists. I'm frustrated and seeking assistance to resolve this ongoing issue. - Janet S., Placerville, California
