I no longer wish to receive the Talbots catalog. I regret the closure of the Colorado Springs store since I reside in the area. Consequently, I have decided to cancel my Talbots credit card. I prefer shopping in outlet stores where I can try on clothes, rather than online. I am disappointed to learn that even the Park Meadows store in Colorado is also closed, with the sign citing maintenance. Talbots used to be my favorite store for clothes and jewelry, but unfortunately, they have lost me as a customer. It makes me wonder how many other customers they have lost due to store closures. While I understand the need for companies to adapt, as a customer, I value the ability to try on clothes for the best fit and style, which online shopping does not provide. Resorting to returning items through the mail was not an appealing option for me. It's unfortunate to lose this convenient clothing store with limited in-person alternatives.

I recently purchased a pair of white pants from Talbot's. During my first wear last night, I discovered a black spot on them. Despite using Woolite Spot Remover, the stain did not budge. Following the care instructions, I laundered the pants, but the mark remains. I believe this may be a manufacturing issue, as I did not encounter anything that could have caused such a spot. I still have the ticket that came with the pants and I am interested in how I can pursue a credit or replacement. Thank you.

I received a $30 off mailer from Talbots with no code or explanation on how to use it. The mailer expired today, and when I tried to use it at the Westfield Mall store in Bethesda, the manager refused to honor it. I felt ignored while browsing for jerseys, despite the store being nearly empty. This experience has made me reconsider my loyalty to Talbots. I'm 80 years old, my name is Roberta B., from Potomac, MD. I wanted to share this feedback and hope for a better experience in the future. Please resend me a usable $30 voucher. I returned a pair of jeans using the pre-paid label and tracking number [redacted][redacted]23 on 11/19/21 from Middleboro. The package never reached Talbots, and the post office couldn't locate it. I contacted Newgistics, but have been unsuccessful in resolving the issue as they seem unreliable. The tracking number shows no results, and now I've been charged $75 on my credit card for the missing item. This whole situation is frustrating, and I'm disappointed with Talbots. What steps can I take to resolve this issue?

I purchased cotton spandex turtlenecks from your store last year and this year, but unfortunately, I have noticed that after just three washings, tiny holes start to appear near the bottom front hem. This happened last year as well, and I was hoping it wouldn't be the case this year, but the same issue is occurring. I really like these shirts, but the quality seems to be a problem. I attempted to return a pair of slippers but was informed they had been worn, thus I couldn't return them. There were a few crumbs on the bottom that could have been easily cleaned off. The slippers were only briefly worn to try them on and discovered they were too small for my toes. Despite purchasing them two months ago, I forgot to return them promptly. They have not been worn since the initial try-on. I can provide photos of the slippers if necessary.

I recently bought 3 items - 2 tops that I love and a pair of Penguin Slippers on 10-28-21. After trying on the slippers and realizing they were too tight, I walked around to test the fit. When I went to return them on 12/23/21 at the Eden Prairie, MN store, they refused the return stating that there were crumbs on the bottom, deeming them as worn. They mentioned it had been 2 months since the purchase. It's frustrating because how else was I supposed to know if they fit without trying them on? I can provide photos of the bottom of the slippers to prove that they were only tried on briefly for fit, not worn regularly.

I spent around $[redacted] last year. I tried to buy $57 worth of items yesterday but was informed I am no longer a premier member of the Talbot's credit card. I wasn't aware that I needed to spend $[redacted] a year to maintain this status. The $8.95 shipping charge included in my recent order would have brought my total spending to $[redacted]. After being told I lost my premier status over $80 to $90, I'm upset. I've been a cardholder since [redacted], spending thousands over the years. I'm disappointed that my status was revoked without my knowledge of the spending requirement. I refrained from purchasing last night due to the treatment received. I am currently on hold with Talbots' corporate office to discuss reinstating my Premier card. This is not the way to retain a loyal customer!

I purchased a sweater from Talbots on January 8 and attempted to return it today at the Talbots store on Cleveland Avenue in Saint Paul, MN. Despite only wearing the sweater 2 to 3 times, it began pilling excessively. Unwashed, I brought it back with the receipt but was met with disrespect when showing the pilling to the saleswoman. I can recall her as a middle-aged, well-dressed woman with long hair. This incident occurred today at approximately 2:00 PM. Although the staff eventually processed the return, the experience left me unhappy. I was informed that in the future, worn items cannot be returned. One month should not render a sweater worn and pilled. Due to the poor treatment and product quality, I have decided not to shop at Talbots again.

I recently discovered that Talbot Outlet store will no longer stock plus size clothing. This decision is disappointing as plus size women, like myself, still have a keen eye for fashionable attire. I am also curious if they have ceased carrying petite sizes. Both plus and petite women struggle to find stylish clothes they feel confident in and prefer trying on items rather than dealing with the uncertainty of online shopping. Living in Montana, where there are no Talbots stores, finding a location that carries plus sizes was always a pleasant surprise. Now, it seems I'll have to search for a regular store and hope they stock plus sizes. I'm disheartened by the apparent discrimination against plus size women, while petite sizes are still available. It's frustrating as I once enjoyed the experience of finding well-fitting clothing at Talbots, but now I'm left feeling let down and disenchanted with the company.

I bought Soho 5-Pocket jeggings for my daughter-in-law for Christmas while she was transitioning homes due to a military family move. She recently found out the pants need to be exchanged for a larger size. I have the Christmas receipt despite it being past the 60-day return policy. I hope you can understand the circumstances and allow me to make the exchange. The website still has the item available, except for in forest night color. I purchased two pairs of Hampshire 4P pants in Black and White but never wore them due to significant weight loss. I need a size 2P now. I found a Black 2P available for exchange, but was informed of the 60 day rule with no exceptions. After speaking with two customer service reps, I requested the name, address, or email of Talbot management for feedback but was stuck in a voicemail loop. Regardless of the policy, I still seek the name of a management contact to address my concerns on the customer service experience and my request for information. I aim to communicate with a management representative directly and respectfully. I prefer not to be limited by the judgment of customer service agents if my inquiry is considered appropriate. I hope this explanation is sufficient for me to receive the courtesy of a management contact responsible for Customer Service/Experience. Thank you.

I am a long-time shopper at Talbots and recently had a negative experience at the Appleton, Wisconsin store. I returned a sweater and was surprised by the sales clerk's attitude when I placed the bag on the counter for her to dispose of. Instead of offering to help, she rudely told me to use the garbage can next time. This was a departure from the friendly service I am used to receiving in other stores. The clerk's name was Elizabeth. I felt disrespected by her tone and wanted to bring this to your attention. Thank you for listening.

On March 10, [redacted], I placed a significant online order due to my inability to shop in person because of illness. I recently returned four items to the Talbot's store in Glendale, AZ, on March 26, [redacted], accompanied by my daughter. The returns process was busy, and I lacked the energy to inquire about the refund, assuming it would match the amount I had paid. However, to my surprise, I received less than the initial purchase price. I returned items worth $[redacted].54 (excluding tax) and was only credited $[redacted].74 (excluding tax). I wish to receive the remaining balance as a credit on my Talbots credit card. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have been a loyal customer of Talbots for many years. Recently, due to weight loss and personal challenges, I found that the clothing I ordered in a larger size no longer fits. Unfortunately, my return time has expired, but I have not removed the tags from five items that are too big for me. I was wondering if there is a possibility of returning these items for store credit so I can purchase the correct size. I have already ordered some smaller items that fit well.
