Hello, I recently registered a Walmart MoneyCard, but mistakenly used my name instead of my mom's as the cardholder. As I am 17, the card is actually in her name. Despite providing her social security number and birthdate, my identification could not be verified, leading to the card being temporarily unusable. I am unsure if it's possible to change the cardholder name and am struggling to access my funds. I've attempted to contact the money center by phone without success. Please advise on how I can resolve this issue and regain access to my money. Thank you.

This is an urgent request for help. I first contacted a representative on Jan. 3 regarding my missing account balance of $1,[redacted] since Dec 30. I am a senior citizen with less than $2 in my account, leaving me unable to even pay for gas. The missing funds also include my retirement check. Despite being told the claims department would call back within 4 hours, no one has reached out. I urgently require assistance as I rely on my phone for medical purposes. I must speak with a real person to resolve this matter promptly before my phone service is disconnected. It's crucial to address this issue within the next few hours to avoid further complications. I appreciate your quick attention to this matter. Thank you.

I bought 4 Walmart money cards after selling my car for cash before moving across the country to my daughter's house. I loaded $[redacted] on each card for safety but one got stolen shortly after I checked into a hotel. I canceled the stolen card, but Walmart won't mail me a new one without a bill with my new address. Since I have no bills at my daughter's place, I must email them. The post office was unhelpful, and I can't get through to a supervisor on the phone. $[redacted] is stuck with Walmart, but I can't reach anyone without the card number. I'm in a tough spot due to circumstances beyond my control, and this has been dragging on since December 13th.

After being guided by my insurance provider, I decided to purchase a Walmart MoneyCard to pay a bill over the phone due to issues with my bank card. Even after loading funds, activating, and verifying my information, the card was consistently declined for online payments. Despite being told to wait for activation, contacting customer support multiple times, and providing all the requested personal details, the card was deemed temporary and restricted to in-store purchases only. Despite successful transactions in-store, attempts to get cash back were declined. Despite numerous calls, the issue remains unresolved as customer support closed my case without a timeline for a solution. Frustrated with being unable to access the funds I loaded onto the card, I seek resolution to gain access to my money.

To whom it may concern at Walmart Gift Card service: I received a $[redacted] gift card in August [redacted], and after using approximately $52 of it, I was surprised to find that the card was declined in December due to a supposedly nonexistent balance. Upon contacting customer service, I was informed of a $5 service charge each month, which was not disclosed at the time of purchase as confirmed by Walmart staff. Despite the service fee policy, there should still be additional funds remaining on the card. During multiple frustrating phone calls with your customer service, I encountered a satisfaction survey loop which hindered my ability to address the issue effectively. Upon visiting a local Walmart on January 16, [redacted], I was told there was $4.95 left on the card. However, when attempting to use it for a $2.02 purchase (including tax), the transaction was declined once again. The store manager recommended contacting you via email due to the ongoing discrepancies. There are several inconsistencies that need to be addressed: 1. Lack of disclosure regarding the service charge. 2. Discrepancy in remaining balance calculations. 3. Inability to use the card despite a small remaining balance. 4. Frustrating experience with customer service phone line tactics. Please investigate this matter promptly. The card number is 5[redacted] 2[redacted] expiring on 06/22. Thank you, Ling Shu

I loaded money onto a Walmart Money Card for my husband in [redacted] or [redacted] but forgot about it. Unfortunately, he passed away in [redacted] after health complications. I tried to access the card or transfer the funds before his passing, but faced challenges due to his medical condition. I even visited a Walmart store to inquire about transferring the card to my name, but was told he needed to be present, which was impossible given his health issues. I believe there is money on the card and would like to know how to retrieve it. I may need to provide his death certificate for this purpose to settle his outstanding taxes or contribute to his headstone expenses at the cemetery. If someone could contact me via phone, mail, or email, I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I have been trying to reach someone at the Walmart MoneyCard customer service, but I have only been able to interact with the automated system and have not been able to connect with a live agent. The automated system states that I have $[redacted].00 on my card, but I have not been able to locate the card since I moved. I have checked with my landlord and the post office, but the card has not been found. I believe it may have been returned to the company. Despite providing my card number, social security number, date of birth, and what I believe is the correct zip code, the system indicates it as incorrect, and I am unable to speak to a live agent before the call disconnects. My social security funds for February are due to be deposited onto the card, and I urgently need access to this money. Assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated as I am currently facing financial hardship.

I have been dealing with issues related to my Walmart Money Card since [redacted], and it has been nothing but a nightmare. Recently, my wallet was stolen, compounded by the fact that I am a victim of domestic violence and my ex-partner has taken my wallet multiple times. Due to my hearing impairment, I struggle to communicate with representatives in the Philippines, and the customer service in California has not been helpful either. Following the theft of my wallet in August, I informed Walmart to close my account. I urgently need copies of all my transactions for legal and IRS purposes, as accessing the website has been challenging for me. Despite instructing AT&T to direct deposit funds to my new account, Green Dot has not followed through. AT&T informed me that the money would be returned since the account was closed, but I was unable to close the account and transfer funds to my new one. I am frustrated as I rely on my PO Box for mail delivery. I demand immediate action to transfer my funds to my current account. I have contacted the FTC and plan to take legal action if the issue is not resolved promptly. I have also informed the Attorney General about the unethical practices of Walmart/Green Dot. I have struggled to access my account online due to changing account numbers assigned by the company. My social security number is [redacted]02, and my date of birth is 12/17/[redacted]. I request confirmation via email once the balance has been transferred to my current account with routing number [redacted]38.

I bought a Walmart money card, but I'm having trouble activating it. Even though I loaded $50 onto the card, the balance still shows zero. I followed the card registration steps correctly. After seeking help from Walmart's customer service, they directed me to this website for assistance. The main issues are the card not reflecting the added dollar amount and failing to show activation. I would appreciate your help. Thank you, Kyeesha Henley

Today, I spoke with an individual named Fedy regarding an issue with my replacement card. Fedy mistakenly entered the wrong date of birth into the system, preventing the activation of my new card. Despite acknowledging the error, Fedy claimed they were unable to rectify the mistake. She noted that they would contact me in 2-3 business days, but this seemed futile as the incorrect information persisted. When pressed for details, she cited confidentiality, which seemed unreasonable given the sensitive nature of the data involved. Fedy suggested closing the account with a check issued in approximately two weeks as a resolution, which I find unacceptable. I urgently require assistance to correct this error promptly and access my funds without further delay.

Hello. My cousin bought a Walmart MoneyCard and loaded it with $[redacted] at the store. He hurriedly mailed it to me outside the US without realizing the potential risk. He only has the receipt. If the card is misplaced, could someone access the funds? Does the receipt contain the 16-digit card number for me to create an online account? How can I enhance the card's security in this situation?

I bought a Walmart MoneyCard on January 23, [redacted], and initially loaded $50 onto it. Despite activating the temporary card without issue, my balance showed as 0 with no transaction history. Upon contacting customer service, I was advised to wait for the permanent card activation, hoping the $50 would appear, which it never did. Unfortunately, I no longer have the receipt. The store informed me they couldn't retrieve the records to provide a copy of the receipt to prove the initial load. Even though it's just $50, it's about the principle now. I'm unsure what steps to take next. Thank you for your assistance.

I am reaching out for assistance regarding a WalMart Money Card issue. I made a $50 deposit on a temporary card purchased on January 23, [redacted], and followed the activation process by calling [redacted]. After realizing the card showed a 0 balance, I contacted customer service. Despite being informed that my money would transfer to the permanent card upon activation, both cards displayed 0 balance and no transactions. I was advised to retrieve the original receipt from the store where I purchased the card. However, the customer service representative stated they couldn't assist with this. In addition, a recent email mentioned restrictions on person to person transfers via PayPal, a service I don't use. I am seeking help as I am perplexed by this situation and the lack of support from the store and customer service staff.

I need help verifying if my Walmart MoneyCard from Visa is properly registered. I visited an online platform called gethuman, which directed me to JustAnswer for an application process. Unfortunately, JustAnswer declined my application when I tried to input my card details. Despite attempting to contact the number provided at the back of my card, I was unable to connect with anyone over the phone for the past two weeks. I even sought assistance from a customer service representative at my local store, however, they were unable to provide any support with this issue.

I have not received my first paycheck from a new job. The company uses bill.com for payments, and I accidentally linked it to an old bill.com account tied to my now-closed Walmart MoneyCard account. The payment was sent to this closed account, and the funds didn't bounce back to the payer. They are unable to issue a new payment until this is resolved. I have been unable to contact Walmart MoneyCard customer service, and emailing them is also proving difficult. I hope someone here can assist me. If needed, please reach out via email. Thank you. Tara L.

I ordered a new card on February 29th with expedited 3-day delivery. However, when checking the FedEx tracking, it shows the card was sent to my old address despite updating it with representatives. I have consistently updated my address, but the issue persists. I am frustrated with the lack of progress and questioning why the phone reps are outsourced to India if the cards are sent from the U.S. If this problem is not resolved promptly, I may have to seek legal action. I also tried updating my address on the online app, but it has not made a difference.

I've been attempting to activate my Walmart Money Card, but when I register, it states it can't verify my identity. When attempting to upload pictures of my ID for verification, the system encounters technical difficulties. Despite receiving a text about my Green Dot card delivery in 5 to 7 days, the website indicates it won't be delivered due to identity verification issues. When reaching out to customer service, the automated system fails to recognize my card information. It prompts me to input my Social Security number, but requests the last four digits of my old card, which I don't possess. I'm eager to activate my card promptly as I plan to have my tax refund deposited onto it.

Good morning, my name is Karen Williams, an Attorney at Law. I am reaching out about a situation concerning a client of mine who is facing issues with you. Despite multiple attempts to contact you and my client calling daily requesting a refund to her card, the money was put back by the merchant yet you put a hold on it erroneously claiming it was approved, then denied, and finally cancelled. Even though my client cancelled the order, you still processed the payment to the merchant. It has been nearly three weeks without any communication from you on this matter. You have not taken any steps to refund the money to the card. Failure to address this promptly may result in legal action for fraudulent behavior. Thank you.

I lost my card and ordered a replacement with expedited shipping for $15 to receive it by the 17th. However, I have not received it yet and I am unable to reach a customer service representative for assistance. This delay has caused me financial distress as I am at risk of losing my home, having my utilities turned off, and not being able to afford gas or food. I am frustrated and just want to transfer the funds from the card, close the account, and switch my direct deposits to a more reliable company that values its customers. I have received two direct deposits that I cannot access until the Walmart MoneyCard arrives.

To all WALMART MONEY CARD users, it's important to be aware of ongoing scams involving the card. Sadly, I've faced issues with their customer service, as they wrongly had my address on file. When I tried to update it, they requested several documents for verification. Additionally, they blocked my card due to supposed fraudulent activity, restricting access to my tax refund. They assured me a check would be sent within two weeks, but I'm still waiting for both refunds totaling over $7,[redacted] since March 4th and 5th, [redacted]. Dealing with these problems has been frustrating, and it's disheartening to experience these issues with such a trusted service.
