I have encountered an issue with my recent purchase (order number: 25-06[redacted]0) of a graphics card. Upon receipt, I discovered that the item I received was not what was described in the listing. The seller included a disclaimer hidden at the bottom of the description stating that only a photo of the card would be provided, not the actual card. This was highly misleading, and I believe it constitutes a fraudulent act. I requested a refund from the seller, but they insisted that the disclaimer in the description absolved them of any wrongdoing. Unfortunately, it seems like I will not be able to resolve this matter with the seller directly. I appreciate any assistance or advice on how to proceed. Thank you for your help. Rich

I contacted the seller (mcow9468) on 13/03/[redacted], who mentioned an investigation due to a hacked account but I have not received my refund or any confirmation. I have tried various methods to reach eBay without success. I am seeking clarification on when I can expect my refund and why it has taken so long to resolve. I sold dog clippers, item [redacted], through Global Shipping. The buyer falsely claimed it was not as described, leading to a forced refund and keeping the clippers. I reported them as a Returns Abuser. Disappointed with eBay's lack of support, I opted out of Global Shipping and plan to decrease my eBay presence due to better platforms. Hello, I have been unexpectedly receiving small items from eBay for several months that I did not purchase. Recently, I received a letter from DRS, a debt collection agency, stating that I owe [redacted] GBP. Despite my efforts to reach out to eBay customer service, I have been unsuccessful. The parcels I received were accompanied by a small piece of paper with no return address, mostly in reused Amazon boxes. It appears someone has used my address to order these small items totaling around [redacted] GBP. When I contacted DRS, they requested the email associated with the account, which did not match mine, making it challenging to resolve the issue due to data protection regulations. I have requested order details and proof of these purchases to return the items to eBay, but have only received demands from the debt agency. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My eBay account has been compromised, and I had to create a new one to reach out for help. The current email address I am using for eBay is [redacted] The original hacked account is [redacted] I followed instructions to change my password, but the password reset link was sent to an unfamiliar email address, so I couldn't proceed. I have attempted all possible solutions and now require assistance from the Fraud team. They can contact me at my phone number, [redacted]5. Additionally, there is a suspicious charge of £67.58 from my bank account with the reference ox17-0. It seems the hacker used a post office box for delivery. The post office associated with the box is located in Hebburn, NE31 1AA, with a contact number of [redacted]4. Kindly ask your Fraud team to urgently reach out to me at [redacted]5.

I was a victim of fraud on eBay yesterday. Someone offered to buy my phone on eBay but then asked to conduct the transaction outside of the platform. After shipping the phone to a supposed military address in the USA for their cousin, I discovered the PayPal payment was fraudulent. I feel very frustrated as the item is already in transit and cannot be retrieved. eBay has now warned me not to communicate with the buyer, suspecting them of being dishonest. I wish eBay had intervened yesterday to prevent this situation. I have lost £[redacted] due to the fraudulent PayPal payment. Thank you.

In January [redacted], I purchased a faulty cylinder head to fix my car. The reconditioned item had a hidden fault affecting the spark plug position, causing my car to develop further problems after installation. The seller claims the fault is my responsibility, despite sending the faulty head back for investigation. An independent engineer allegedly confirmed my liability. My mechanic had to replace the head due to oil delivery issues, damaged camshaft housing, and blocked oil channels. The replacement recon head bought on eBay only lasted 30 miles before losing compression due to a burned intake valve from the spark plug's incorrect position. The helicoil installed by the seller during the reconditioning process was incorrectly placed, leading to the spark jumping to the valve head instead of the spark plug. The seller refuses to acknowledge any responsibility, insisting the head was fully functional. I feel lost after spending £[redacted] on the head and not having a working one.

I am having trouble accessing my account due to suspected hacking. An outdated email was linked to my account, but after contacting support, my email was updated. However, I am not receiving password reset emails. Also, my account's phone number is a landline, making it impossible to receive text messages for password resets. I have been facing this issue for several weeks now, and when attempting to call, I find the office closed. Today, an unauthorized transaction was made from my PayPal account on eBay. I did not make this transaction. I am requesting eBay to update my phone number so I can reset my password. The changes to my account are concerning and I cannot understand why they occurred.

I am interested in buying a classic car, but there seems to be a hacker who keeps registering numerous cars at incredibly low prices, often using others' accounts. This issue happens frequently, creating a nightmare for me on eBay and shaking my trust in the system. I do my best to report suspicious listings, but when I see around [redacted] cars listed simultaneously, more needs to be done by eBay to a. track these offenders and b. limit listings to one per person, making it harder for them to flood the platform. I've noticed a pattern in the timing of these listings, usually after school and on weekends/holidays, and I hope eBay can identify and address this issue. I am willing to volunteer my time to help monitor and report fake listings. Despite this challenge, I generally enjoy using eBay for purchasing, but this individual is negatively impacting my quest for a classic car. I urge eBay to take action.

I purchased a gazebo on eBay in August [redacted] for £97.99. It was delivered quickly and used a few times before being stored in October. When we took it out again in March, we noticed extensive damage on the material after minimal use. The metal leg locking system was also faulty. I reached out to the company but they claim it wasn't bought from them. I'm disappointed with the quality of this supposedly heavy-duty gazebo compared to my previous durable one. I am currently dealing with an account lockout issue on eBay. Despite numerous attempts to reset my password and contact customer support, I have not received a resolution. It appears that my account may have been flagged for suspicious activity due to a mistaken action on my part. I am unable to access my account to fulfill my pending orders and cannot reach a live representative over the phone. The automated system seems to mistake me for a bot, making it impossible to address this urgent matter promptly. I urgently need to regain access to my account to ship out the sold items and uphold my commitment to the buyer. Despite assurances from an agent to contact me earlier, I have not received any follow-up. As I must now leave for work, I am feeling extremely frustrated and at a loss for what steps to take next. I listed a phone on eBay, and it was sold within a day. I promptly shipped it with next-day delivery and provided the tracking details. The buyer received and signed for the package the following day. However, eBay deducted £72.50 from the payment and is still holding the funds, even though the transaction was successful. I want to warn everyone about a potential scam that I almost fell victim to about 18 months ago involving a fake listing for a Mercedes cabriolet on eBay (item number: [redacted]98). The seller insisted on using PayPal for a secure transaction where the vehicle would be delivered before releasing payment. This sounded familiar because the scammer used the same tactics and even referenced a previous fraudulent transaction involving a Mercedes to Tavistock using the same name and address. Please be cautious and watch out for similar scams.

"I recently received a message informing me that my eBay account has been permanently suspended. I'm puzzled by this decision as I believe I have abided by all of eBay's terms of service. Here is a summary of my activities on the platform: - I verified my phone number. - I attempted to bid on a few items unsuccessfully. - I successfully listed and sold two items with accurate descriptions and clear photos that I personally took. - I tried to purchase a phone at a competitive price. - I purchased a GPU and engaged in what I considered to be a pleasant conversation regarding the delivery expectations. I'm at a loss as to why my account was suspended without any specific reasons provided or the opportunity to appeal. I'm reaching out here since eBay doesn't seem to have customer service available. I purchased an item from a seller who is no longer listed, named Joel1454. I bought this perfume in December as a birthday gift for someone. Unfortunately, upon receiving the gift, I was embarrassed to discover that the perfume Angel is fake. Despite the authentic-looking wrapping, the scent is not genuine. I am familiar with this fragrance, and this is clearly not the real product. I kindly request a refund for the item "Thierry Mugler Angel EDP 100ml Women New Boxed & Sealed" with the item number [redacted]83, priced at £64.99. Hello, I recently purchased 3 leads and received one of them. After contacting the seller, I was promised a replacement lead when new stock arrived along with a free gift. However, I never received either the replacement lead or the gift. I spoke to a lady on eBay last week, and she mentioned a pending refund of £2.99. She asked me to inform her if the missing lead arrived, but I still haven't received anything. I closed the issue assuming I would be refunded for the missing lead. I've been attempting to obtain a refund for a defective portable TV purchased from fastfungoods. Following an online chat with an adviser, I initiated a return request, which was denied by the seller. Instead, I was offered 25% compensation, which I find unacceptable. The screen issue is deteriorating daily.
